The four-stage cycle that underpins all school-based SEN support under the Graduated Response. The school Assesses the child's needs, Plans the support to be put in place, Does (delivers) that support, then Reviews its impact. Multiple APDR cycles with documented outcomes form the evidence base for requesting an EHC needs assessment if progress is insufficient.
